Happy New Year to all! After a busy Christmas period and no doubt too many drinks on New Year I'm sure you will all be itching to get back to the golf course. The current weather is not helping either! We are still open at the pro shop even when the course is shut so our full tuition and custom fitting services are still available. Don't forget now is a great time of year to work on your swing and get your equipment in shape for the upcoming season.

We don't wish to start the year on a negative, but let's face it, the weather isn't looking too great is it?!
With this in mind, we know many of you have taken to the range to work on your game. If you are doing so, rather than taking a bucket of balls and swinging away aimlessly, give yourself a goal. It takes no time at all to crack your way through 30 or 60 balls, but what are you hoping to achieve by the end of it? Too many amateur golfers make this common mistake.
We have some ways of helping you to improve your range time. Come and speak to the team because we can identify areas of your game where you can improve and offer drills to help you get there. Not only will goals help you focus more on what you're trying to achieve, but it will make hitting balls a touch more rewarding as well.
