An excellent session working with Micheal on correcting his set up position by improving his hip tilt at address. His strike and flight improvement was huge. See the improvements below: |

What a classic
It was a shock win for world number 417 Adam Long, as the American claimed his maiden PGA Tour title at the Desert Classic in California. A bogey-free card for Long – in what was only his sixth tour event – led to a final round of 65, finishing on 26 under. He fought off stiff competition from the considerably more experienced Phil Mickelson, who was left ruing a lack of composure on the greens, as he finished one shot behind Long. Mickelson had carded an opening round of 60 – his best ever round on tour – but he failed to cling on to his lead as Long claimed a well-deserved victory. On the European Tour, it was an equally nerve-wracking end in the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship, with Shane Lowry emerging victorious by one shot over South African Richard Sterne. It was the first victory on tour for Lowry since August 2015, and signals a return to form for the Irishman. A test of nerve was required with both Lowry and Sterne level on the 18th tee, but Lowry’s birdie at the last sealed the win. |
The last thing anyone wants is to purchase a new set of irons, only to struggle massively when they take to the course with their friends a few days later. Sound familiar? Well, with lots of new products about to land in-store for 2019, here are a few iron models that we recommend having a custom fitting for... |
The M5 and M6 irons from TaylorMade are designed for explosive distance, thanks mainly to the innovative Speed Bridge structure that helps stiffen the clubhead to generate higher ball speeds - visible technology that you can see in the images above. The M6 is designed for maximum forgiveness - something that we can all benefit from - whereas the M5 is suited to the better player who is looking for more distance without sacrificing control.
Hopefully, you have an idea of which iron you'd like to put in your bag, but it's not until you come and visit us for an enjoyable custom fitting that you'll know which iron and shaft combination performs best for you. We're here to help you play better golf. |
