Over the last couple of weeks we have been running a survey asking you which you see as most important when you buy golf clubs; Brand, Price or Fit.
Well I can tell you the results were overwhelming in favour of Fit with 83% of you thinking this was most important. 17% of you though that Price was most importans and 0% thought that Brand was the most important criteria when buying golf clubs.

As many of you are already aware, the golf season may be over but the competitions run on at Burgham Park! There is a Pro Stabelford competition held over Saturday and Sunday of every weekend and the entry fee is £2 with an optional £1 for the two's club, the latest result was:
1st- N Wilford on 40 pts (£46 voucher), 2nd - P Mclaughlin with 39 pts (£27.60 Voucher) and 3rd - S Martin one back on 38 Pts (£18.40 Voucher)
2's : - M Salters, S Garbutt and M Thompson £15.30 per 2 .
Well done to Neil Wilford for his great score of 40 pts this weekend.
Following a couple of weeks of especially cold weather, the course is still very much playable and in good condition. All tees are in play and there are no winter greens at all. The green staff have asked me to remind all members that, during wet periods, it would be appreciated if golfers could tee it up on the fairways in an attempt to keep the fairways in a better condition for the summer.
This is only for non- competition play.
