A message from our Game Improvement Champion!

Here is a message from our game improvement champion, Alan Dodd:

"I'm very fortunate to have been chosen as David's game improvement guinea pig and I'd like to thank him for the opportunity and also introduce myself to everyone. David hasn't been given an easy task when my name came out of the hat; I'm in my mid-forties and have only taken up golf about three years ago. In the past I would take my slice into account when aiming for a shot and although I could usually get away with it, I lost a huge amount of distance and always ended up on the right hand side of the course. It would be a brave golfer who claimed to have totally eliminated that fault from his game but I am now able to consistently draw the ball rather than slice or fade it and as a result have gained approximately 40 yards. This has also allowed me to play the left hand side of the golf course for the first time!"
