Where should I leave the rake when leaving the bunker?
Thanks to all of our members for raking the bunkers after they have used them but some people are asking where the rake should be left?
To avoid awkward lies in bunkers where the rake stops the ball rolling into the centre of the bunker can we all please leave the rake OUTSIDE of the bunker? May also stop your ball rolling in!
If you're finding that this is a common problem however, why not click here to book a lesson and learn how to avoid getting trapped in them so often!
New Titleist equipment!
The new 716 irons and 816 hybrid ranges are due in next week for demo. Ranging from the game improvement AP1 irons right through to the bladed MB range there is something for everyone!
The new 716 irons look and perform fantastic and to compliment the range they are introducing a new hybrid, the 816. What Titleist have found is that most golfers can hit their higher irons very well and have good gaping in between, but as you progress into the lower irons the distances have a tenancy to compress, so that 6, 5 and 4-iron can end up going relatively similar distances.
The 816 range will have a number of loft options available to widen the gaps, providing far more options right the way through the bag.
